Authors awarded first prize of the 2018 contest

Recently, at Hue High School, The organizing Board of Thua Thien Hue XI Children and Youth's Creativity Contest, 2018 has organized awarded and closing ceremony.

The contest attracted a great number of local youths and children over 11 times of organization. There were more than 600 topics participated in and among that, 278 topics received provincial awards and 23 for national awards.

This is 4th year that the contest has been organized at the district level and has recruited 123 topics to participate in provincial contest that belong to 5 areas, including:  20 topics for learning devices; 14 topics of computer software, 32 themes of Environmental friendly products; 30 themes of home appliances and children's toys; 27 themes of environment protection and climate change mitigation. Among them, there are 21 themes of primary school pupils, 57 of secondary schools and 45 of  high school.

The organizing Board have selected and awarded 59 prizes including 4 first prizes, 9 second prizes, and 14 third prizes, 29 encouraging prizes, 01 for the best model prize, 01 for the youngest author and 01 author with the most special circumstances. From this result, organizers have selected 27 topics to participate in the 14th national competition, 2018.

The Creative Youth and Children Contest is an annual event that to promote youthfulness’ creation. This is a meaningful activity to support formation of personality for young generation of the province and helping children nurture dream of becoming an inventor.

On closing and awarded ceremony, the Organizing board have launched the XIIth Thua Thien Hue Children's and Youth Creativity Contest in 2019.
