Following the signing of an MOU on cooperation in handling dioxin contamination in Vietnam between Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) and Korea’s BJC company, both sides are accelerating the implementation of the projects in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho province.

Within the framework of the Vietnam-Korea Environment Forum in Ho Chi Minh City on October 27, leaders of the two organisations met with each other and discussed the cooperation opportunities.

During the meeting, they discussed an action plan to promote the cooperation and implementation of decontamination projects. VACNE President Nguyen Ngoc Sinh and BJC President Pak highlighted the outcomes of the meeting.

Thanks to the assistance of local authorities, VACNE and BJC experts carried out a survey in A Luoi district and visited families of victims of agent orange there.

They were all confident about the success of the charity projects.
