Vietnam bags five golds at Asian Young Inventors Exhibition

The Vietnamese delegation has grabbed five gold, four silver, and a bronze medal at the Asian Young Inventors Exhibition 2014 (AYIE 2014).

The Vietnamese delegation, led by Mr Pham Van Tan, Vice President cum Secretary General of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, brought to the exhibition 10 oustanding products, including a folklift truck, a chemical calculator, a robot, Ikid software…

During the AYIE 2014, organised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a variety of outstanding scientific and technological inventions by Asian pupils were showcased, attracting huge numbers of visitors, who had the chance to understand more about the inventions through interesting presentations by young inventors.

Creativity and applicability are two of the criteria for the assessment of the invention in this year’s exhibition.

The AYIE 2014 was a good chance for Asian pupils to exchange knowledge and experience to contribute to their countries’ development.
